Storytelling is one of the central components of Godly Play, but storytelling doesn’t have to end here. Elaine Reese comments, “Books contain narratives, but only family stories contain your family’s personal narratives.” You can reminisce about the day’s events together or maybe share a story from your childhood at bedtime. Read Elaine Reese’s article “What Kids Learn from Hearing Family Stories” to learn more.
