COMMUNITY GROUPS

Because Life Really is Better Together!

Jesus tells us, “By this all men will know you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35) We take that very seriously at St. Paul’s.

Community Groups help us celebrate life events together, welcome guests, encourage one another through the study of the Word, and tackle missional challenges. Community Groups not only interact and serve those here at SPL, but the greater community of Decatur as well, evidenced by the many, and successful, community projects sponsored by the various groups.

Current Community Groups

Below is a list of the current Community Groups, when they meet, and its leaders. We strongly encourage you to visit one, or all, of those listed and become a part of the family! For more information e-mail the Church Office or call 217-423-6955.

God's Gene Pool

  • Saturdays 7:15pm – Meets in Dining Room
  • Hosted by Gene & Nancy Mueller. The group meets for food, fellowship, Bible study, prayer and helps various local & international outreach opportunities.
  • It is a great way to start to get connected to SPL. (Dinner served)

We Share Christ's Love

  • Sundays 9:15am – WSCL – Meets in Conference Room (1st Floor)
  • Hosted by Jeff and Pam Althoff. In this group you will have a time of fellowship, food, and discussion of the questions related to the weekly message for Bible Study. (Light Breakfast shared)
