CORONA VIRUS UPDATE

COVID 19 (Coronavirus) UPDATE

Last posted 6/1/20 at 12:00PM

The family at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church loves and cares for our Decatur community, and we want to continue do our part to help protect our family, friends, and neighbors from the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In accordance with current local and state guidelines, our campus is preparing for limited opening. This includes St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, SPL Field House, AND St. Paul’s Early Learning Center. All in person classes are currently suspended (including classes for adult, youth, and children, and our nursery is also closed); Church Office and ELC Office staff are still in a hybrid capacity with some working in person as needed and some working remotely, until current restrictions and guidelines change. In an effort to begin preparing for in person worship services and in order to maintain a high level of sanitization, the building is not yet open to regular foot traffic – please call the Church Office at 217-423-6955 if you have a need or question, or utilize our Drop Box located at the St. Paul’s Early Learning Center entrance should you need to drop something off at the building (available Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm).

As we look toward resuming in person worship services and prepare to follow guidelines for doing so, we will still continue to host ONLINE WORSHIP SERVICES. All Worship Services will be streamed for you during regular worship times at spldecatur.churchonline.org on Saturday at 6:00 pm and Sunday at 8:00 am and 10:30 am.
