In a society as unconnected as ours, caring and compassionate Christian relationships are a priority. That is why joining a Small Group is fundamental to spiritual maturity. A Small Group is usually comprised of 6-12 people who meet regularly in a home setting. They share with, and care for, one another while learning more about issues they have in common. Each small group decides which issues and topics they would like to discuss and explore. Leadership of the group is often shared among group members and changes on a regular basis.
No matter what your age, marital status, or situation, chances are there is a small group just waiting to welcome you! For a current list of the small groups available or for more information, contact Pastor Mark Gearig in the Church Office at 217-423-6955.
SPL also houses a healthy library of small group materials, including DVD and book studies that are great learning tools and easy to use. If you are interested in utilizing some of the resources we have available, please visit our Church Office to view the library and check-out materials for your next group study!
