PRAYER

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. – James 5:16

God has designed prayer to be our means to communicate with him, spirit to spirit. And if we pray according to his will, he will hear us.

SCRIPTURES

 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers

1 Peter 3:12

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
