The family at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church loves and cares for our Decatur community, and we want to continue do our part to help protect our family, friends, and neighbors from the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In accordance with current local and state guidelines, face masks should be worn in the facility by those who have not been fully vaccinated, especially when entering and exiting, moving about common areas and in the Worship Center, and especially when unable to be adequately socially distant (6ft or more) from others. Individuals who have been fully vaccinated are not required to wear a face mask. This includes St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and SPL Field House. Face masks are still required for all persons inside St. Paul’s Early Learning Center. Please also regularly wash and sanitize your hands.

When coming to the building to visit the Church Office during the week, please use the South East/Cross Tower Entrance and please stop at the Reception Desk to check-in.

During the colder weather, drop-off and pick-up will be directed inside through the East doors of the building during the high traffic times (7:00-8:30am and 3:30-5:00pm especially). Questions about entry should be directed to St. Paul’s Early Learning Center at 217-424-9183.

We offer in-person and online worship services at regular worship times and are following guidelines for doing so. Hand sanitizing stations and hand washing facilities are available for your use, and a face mask will be provided for you if you need one. If you or a family member are ill, if you are experiencing symptoms, or if you have been exposed to or are caring for someone with COVID, please stay at home for your own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
