The family at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church loves and cares for our Decatur community, and we want to continue do our part to help protect our family, friends, and neighbors from the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
In accordance with current local and state guidelines, face masks must be worn in the facility at all times (per city ordinance), especially when entering and exiting, moving about common areas and in the Worship Center, and especially when unable to be adequately socially distant (6ft or more) from others. This includes St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, SPL Field House, AND St. Paul’s Early Learning Center. Please also regularly wash and sanitize your hands.
When coming to the building to visit the Church Office during the week, please use the South East/Cross Tower Entrance and please stop at the Reception Desk to check-in.
When coming to the building for in-person Weekend Worship, please use the South Main Entry on the front face of the building (enter into the West Fellowship Area).
When coming to the building for the SPL Field House or Run/Walk/Fitness activities, please use the South Main Entry on the front face of the building (enter into the West Fellowship Area).
When coming to St. Paul’s Early Learning Center, please use their marked entrance on the East side of the building and follow their posted guidelines for entry. During the colder weather, drop-off and pick-up will be directed inside through the central East doors of the building during the high traffic times (7:30-8:30am and 3:30-4:30pm especially). Questions about entry should be directed to St. Paul’s Early Learning Center at 217-424-9183.
We offer in-person and online worship services at regular worship times and are following guidelines for doing so. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing (6ft. or more) while at SPL and out and about in the community. Hand sanitizing stations and hand washing facilities are available for your use, and a face mask will be provided for you if you do not have one. If you or a family member are ill, if you are experiencing symptoms, or if you have been exposed to or are caring for someone with COVID, please stay at home for your own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
