St. Paul's Lutheran Church is passionate about helping individuals and families build their lives on the love of Jesus Christ and the truth of God's Word. As a part of this passion, we care about the overall well being of this church family and our guests and recognize that some of life's challenges require additional care. For this reason, St. Paul's Lutheran Church offers professional, confidential counseling services. Services are available for a wide variety of individual, couple, family, and children's needs. Our new team member, Jarvis Howe, M.A., is now on board as the Director of Counseling and Family Ministry at St. Paul's (Jarvis is supervised by Carol Josefson, LCPC). To learn more about available SPL Counseling Services, or to make an appointment, email Jarvis or call 217-423-6955.
Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone
Our congregation accepts and practices the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther, who inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. These teachings can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone.
