THIS JULY, GO “ALL IN” FOR SAFE FAMILIES AT SPL!
This month, we’ll be taking the opportunity to shine a spotlight on Safe Families, a very special and very important local ministry that we have embraced here at SPL. Because every child deserves to grow up feeling safe and loved, we have stepped “all in” to come alongside and provide needed support to families in crisis in Macon County in partnership with this arm of Illini Christian Ministries.
You can show your support for Safe Families at SPL by helping our team prepare and stock our Safe Families Care Closet. This resource will help local Safe Families partners meet the needs of host families and the kids and families we will serve through this important ministry. Take a look at this list of needed items. (Click the list image below to connect with a printable pdf copy of the Care Closet needs list.)
Items donated to the Safe Families Care Closet can be brought to the Safe Families kiosk in the Fellowship Area at SPL.
If you would like to learn more about Safe Families or are ready to go “all in” and get involved with our team, please submit a response to the Connect with Safe Families form and a member of our team will follow up with you.
Contact Marla Galka or Ariana Shelton, or the Church Office (217-423-6955) with any additional questions you may have.
