BOARD OF ELDER NOMINATIONS 2020

The Nominating Committee for the SPL Board of Elders is requesting your nominations for Elders to serve during the 2020-2021 term. The Committee is led by Greg Florian and he is joined by Susan Head, Marsha Cordts, Dave Minick, and Jeff Entler.

You can contact Greg Florian with your nominations at 217-433-7551 or speak with one of the committee members. Please submit your nominations for leadership by May 4th – the committee would like to present their slate of nominees to the congregation for consideration by two weeks prior to the May meeting.

Voting is currently scheduled to take place at the semi-annual Voters Meeting on May 31, 2020 at 12:00pm, however we will keep you updated about how we will complete this process in accordance to the directives from the State of Illinois and Illinois Department of Public Health as we approach that time.

This year, we will be nominating individuals for at least one Elder-At-Large position (2 year term) and also the Chairman-Elect position (serves 1 year as Chairman-Elect, 1 year as Chairman).

Our current Board of Elders includes: Dave Koshinski (Chairman), Michael Peer (Chairman-Elect), and Elders-At-Large Jeff Hawkins, Sam Morrow, Darren Reynolds, and Jim Buske. Jeff and Jim have a year remaining in their current terms. Malcolm Head is serving the remainder of Dale Tolly’s two-year term. Dave and Sam will conclude their current terms. Darren Reynolds will conclude his current term of service but is eligible and plans to continue.
