Come together to pack Shoebox Gifts for Operation Christmas Child!
Our SPL Family wants to continue to lift up and encourage the Teachers and Staff of our Lutheran School Association and St. Paul’s Early Learning Center.
As a part of our family and the body of Christ, YOU are invited to step in as one of our Partners in Prayer for this school year!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Partners in Prayer will be randomly assigned a teacher or staff member from LSA or ELC. You may have one to three assigned to you, depending on your willingness and preference (between the two schools we have around 80 people to cover and encourage). You as the Partner in Prayer may indicate a preference for which program, if you have a special place in your heart for the ELC or the LSA in particular.
As a Partner in Prayer, you will commit to a minimum of:
-
- Praying once a week for your assigned teacher(s)/staff member(s)
- Writing a note of encouragement once a month (via hand written note or email) that you will send to your assigned teacher(s)/staff member(s)
It’s as simple as that – a few small things that will have a great impact and make a difference in the lives of the leaders of our schools. Maybe you have heard, “Everyone wins when the leader gets better.” By investing in the lives of those who lead our schools and classrooms, you will also help ensure the success of the students and families they encounter.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Are you interested in praying for one to three teachers or staff members, and sending along a monthly note of encouragement? Then get started now by completing the PARTNERS IN PRAYER INTEREST FORM available on our website and let us know how you are ready to be a partner.
Please COMPLETE the form by AUGUST 28TH so we can ensure timely matching of partners with teachers/staff for this school year as it gets underway.
Our team leader Jennifer Suckow will be in touch with you in the weeks following, sharing your match(es) with you.
Don’t have the option to complete the online form? That’s ok! Contact our Church Office at 217-423-6955 and we can assist you in the sign up process. Be sure to share your phone number and mailing address, so our team can mail your letter and assignment to you and help you get started.
