While many high school and college seniors are counting the hours until graduation, one more among us is preparing for a very special “graduation”.

Storck_Mrs._251-240x300An alum of the LSA herself, Ellen Storck received her first teaching call to the LSA in 1972 and has taught and served faithfully since that time. She has shared knowledge, wisdom, and the love of Jesus with the generations of children who have passed through the halls of our school buildings.

It takes a special person to teach for 45 years, and our school and our church are so blessed by this example of service and calling. Thank you, Ellen, for all the ways you have poured into the lives of others over the years. Thank you for the love and dedication you have demonstrated for all of us and for the countless hours that you have given as your
offering to the lives of children and to our Lutheran School Association (LSA).

IMG_1116You are a living example for us of Proverbs 31:25, “She is clothed in strength and dignity.” May we all learn to Be the Message for others in this way and to serve selflessly as you have for all these years.

We applaud you and we lift you up in prayer, giving thanks for you and the ways God has used you in this place! Congratulations and Happy Retirement!

EllenStorckAs you see Ellen around Decatur or at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, please be sure to honor her and give thanks for her time of service, and congratulate her on her retirement. She’s also available to go out to breakfast now… 🙂

WE ARE THANKFUL FOR YOU ELLEN STORCK!
HAPPY RETIREMENT!
